From day one of the Incorporation of Cosmic Insurance Brokers Ltd on the 30th November, 1982 and commencement of business on the 1st of March, 1993, the Company has a mission of providing highly rewarding broking services in all classes if Insurance and Re-insurance both in Nigeria and Abroad. To achieve its mission, cosmic main focus is a continuous program of providing extended Insurance benefits particularly to its corporate customers to ensure that any genuine insurable claim is settled promptly if and when the need occurs. 2.2 The company have a technical team which ensures that corporate risks are initially surveyed at Cosmic’s expense to identify the peculiar nature of our client’s set up and extend the standard contracts from the inception of their policies, at no extra premium to cover all insurable risks of its clients. Each time this is done, it does provide an easy basis for negotiating and settling claims with Underwriters without any delay whatsoever and to the utmost satisfaction of our clients. This explains our descriptive slogan “The Extended Cover Planners” for which we are singularly noted in the market. 2.3 To achieve our objective, CIB has a formidable Board of Directors constituted by a crop of reputable Nigerians with impressive track records from their previous and existing businesses. The management team is headed by Dr Teslim Sanusi FCII,MBA,FCIB,PHD who is the Managing Director/CEO of the company. The Chief Executive attributes the success of the company to divine assistance, foresight, focus, integrity and astute professionalism brought to bear on Insurance Broking business; hence the company’s motto: “Extended Insurance Benefits”. 2.4 Over the years, the company has grown in leaps and bounds with its corporate Headquarters at Cosmic House, by Shoprite, 1b Kafi Street, Alausa, Secretariat, Ikeja, Lagos. The central office is in Abuja and branches all over the country i.e. Benin, Ilorin, Port Harcourt, Jos, Kano etc. The company owns properties in Lagos, Abuja and Ilorin.
